Help → magnets
today i had an email filtered as SPAM. However when I opened POPFILE, i found that this specific email did not have the usual options under the button 'Reclasify' but the words 'Magnet Used'. I do not recall associating this email address with any particular magnet and I would like to reclassify it as 'Personal'.
Please help

Which version of POPFile are you using? Old versions of POPFile used a simple magnet system that could result in some unexpected behaviour (e.g. a magnet for 'test@example.com' would also match 'nottest@example.com').
POPFile 1.1.2 introduced a better magnet matching system which is described in the wiki's What is a magnet? page.
If you are using the current release of POPFile (1.1.3) or the older 1.1.2 release, I recommend that you review all of your magnets to make sure they are defined appropriately. The MAGNETS page in the POPFile User Interface lists all of the magnets you have defined and lets you modify or delete them.
Magnets bypass POPFile's Bayes classification system which is why the HISTORY page does not provide the usual reclassify options for mail handled by magnets. The wiki has more information about magnets.
