Ubuntu package update?

I use Ubuntu and the associated package manager, but I note that it doesn't have the November 2008 release of POPFile yet. Are there plans to release it that way?

    We don't maintain the Ubuntu package of POPFile ourselves.

    The Ubuntu package are usually packaged and released to give users tested and stable software. Therefore new upstream (POPFile) releases aren't transfered into packages too quickly.
