I have recently moved from Windows to Mac and had need to install Popfile on there. The documentation on this subject is old and fragmented. I have figured out how to do it and, to make it easier, I have created a very basic install script/package which provides all the startup files and does all the complex perl compile and build bits for you.

It rather needs a peer review - all I can say is that it works for me. I also know nothing about updating or providing the documentation in the correct place. If anyone wants to take the package and make it official after smartening it up they are welcome to do it.
