Download POPFile

There are now three versions of POPFile:

  • POPFile for Windows

For Windows, POPFile comes with an installer that helps you setup POPFile and get started.

NOTE: The installer for Windows has a known problem. POPFile will crash if you've installed POPFile with default configuration and you are using the SSL support. You can solve this problem by installing XMLRPC option. Please re-run the POPFile installer and select the XML option. We are working to solve this issue in the next version of POPFile. The first release candidate has been released for testing.

  • POPFile for Mac OS X

For Mac OS X, POPFile comes with an installer that helps you setup POPFile and get started. There are three Mac OS X installers to choose from because different versions of OS X use different versions of Perl.

  • POPFile Cross Platform

The Cross Platform version can be used on any platform (including Windows) where Perl and the necessary modules are installed.

Current Release

Release Notes 1.1.3 (September 6, 2011)
Cross-platform v1.1.3
Windows version v1.1.3
Mac OS X version 10.3.9 to 10.5.x v1.1.3
10.6 (Snow Leopard) v1.1.3
10.7 (Lion) v1.1.3

Bleeding Edge: tarballs

These tarballs are updated every two hours from our subversion repository. The trunk is only for development purposes and testing and should currently not be used in production. The 0_22_2 branch is the subversion branch that leads to the next release of POPFile and you should generally be able to use it on a daily basis (YMMV, though). It is the branch where POPFile 1.x.x comes from.

Archive

If you are a software historian, you can find old and very old releases of POPFile on our Download Archive page.
