Description
When the POPFile 1.1.2 installer is used with the default settings (in English) the minimal Perl is not good enough to support SSL connections to the mail server.
As a workaround, selecting the optional XMLRPC component ensures that the necessary extra files are installed to permit POPFile to use SSL connections to mail servers.
Note that there is no need to enable XMLRPC via the POPFile UI, simply installing the XMLRPC support files is enough to fix the problem.
