Description
Starting last Thursday, one of my email accounts started having INTERMITTENT errors when doing SEND/RECEIVE with Outlook. The problem was with the RECEIVE, as the SEND worked fine. I was using Outlook 2003. I upgraded to Office 2013, and the problem was still there.
The problem was intermittent. I would say that about 1 in 10 times, it worked fine.
The error was:
Task 'info@… - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90): 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Turns out the ONLY WAY I was able to get the problem resolved was to "disconnect" that email account from going through POPFILE. My other 2 email accounts going through POPFILE continue to work fine.

Hi,
You still have the problem?
If some of your mail account needs SSL, you need to turn off 'concurrent POP3 connections'. For more information: http://getpopfile.org/docs/faq:ssl#email_client_configuration

Sorry for such a late reply. I wonder if there was a message with an unusual header in your mailbox at the time that was causing trouble. If you have reconnected that account with POPFile since, does it still have the same issue?
