What is the (unique) word count?

When you reclassify a message, POPfile will add the words in that message to the word list of the corresponding bucket. In this list, the words are stored along with a word count. Thus if POPFile has seen the word “viagra” 100 times in messages that you reclassified as spam, the single distinct word viagra will have a word count of 100.

The summary table on the buckets page will thus tell you how many different words there are in each bucket's word list (“distinct words”) and it will also tell you the sum of all the word counts in each bucket (“Word Counts” table).
