Which version of POPFile should I use?

There are three distributions of POPFile available, Crossplatform, Windows and Mac OS X.

The programs are the same, however the Windows distribution includes a user friendly Windows installer application to help you get it running quickly and a system tray icon that lets you easily access the user interface. If you are a Windows user without an existing installation of Perl, you are encouraged to use this distribution as it comes pre-configured with Perl in the package for a no-nonsense installation.

Mac OS X distribution also includes a user friendly installer application.

All other platform users should use the Crossplatform distribution.
